Other Industry Training Organisations (ITOs)

  • We work with other ITOs in the development of qualifications which might cross sectors. In particular the Retail Institute is involved with the Service Industries Training Alliance (SITA) which includes four other service ITOs responsible for the qualifications and training development of the aviation, tourism and travel; hospitality; sports fitness and recreation; and hairdressing industries. SITA aims to promote skills growth within the service sector as a whole. The alliance will enable member ITOs to capitalise on similarities in their industries and collaborate on work relevant to the entire sector such as research and qualifications development.
