The New Face of Retail Training

05 June 2008

The launch of the Retail Institute is a must attend for all those involved in the retail industry. Come June 5 Retail ITO will officially be known as Retail Institute.

June 5th will see the new Retail Institute brand revealed, a customer service programme launched and the information in the latest budget will be presented in relation to how it will affect retail businesses.

The new brand presents a new look and feel, creating a new energy for our organisation. This is also reflected in the new organisational aim: Retail Institute exists to facilitate the best possible, quality assured, training and education systems in order to improve productivity in the retail and wholesale industry.

Over the past year the organisation has grown significantly. The rebranding cements the next step in this growth and brings the organisation and its purpose for being, together for all involved.

We have new teams working on a majority of projects including the development of a range of training resources and training programmes for those in the retail and wholesale industries. These will be available in a number of multimedia and interactive formats to tackle learning needs.

The first of the new products to be launched in conjunction with the brand is the Customer Service Award. The Customer Service Award is ideal for retailers wanting to gain a good understanding of what it means to offer good customer service.

The certificate is a short award and covers a portion of the National Certificate in Retail Level 2.The certificate covers the essentials in customer service including communication skills, personal presentation, product knowledge, and team work.

Unit standards gained from this award can be cross credited to the National Certificate in Retail Level 2. For more information or to request an invite to our launch please contact us on 0800 486 738.
