The Retail Institute has completed the development of the Sales standards and qualifications. This was one of our priority projects for the year 2010. The standards and qualifications have been submitted to NZQA for quality assurance. These standards and qualifications were developed with the expertise of a very enthusiastic and dedicated Expert Panel representing a wide cross-section of the Sales industry.
Representation on the Expert Panel included major sales organisations such as Microsoft, Fairfax Media, Office Max and DHL Express. Our small to medium enterprises were also represented through companies such as Achieve Global NZ, SPOS and Red Group Retail. Interested Industry Training Organisations were also included in the consultation and development process.
