NATIONAL CERTIFICATE IN RETAIL (LEVEL 3)

The National Certificate in Retail (Level 3) is the supervisory level certificate for the retail industry.

The qualification covers skills such as: giving verbal instructions, responding to customers' complaints, maintaining and using knowledge of legislation, customer service techniques, applying product and/or service knowledge, stock control and loss prevention.

The training material is broken into four modules:

  1. Communication
  2. Shop Floor
  3. Advanced Stock Control
  4. Advanced Customer Service

Who is suitable?

The National Certificate in Retail (Level 3) is suitable for most retailers in a supervisory position or those who have completed the National Certificate in Retail (Level 2) and want to progress to the next level.

How it works

Every employer who signs their employee(s) into a Training Agreement for the National Certificate in Retail (Level 3) receives a Trainer Pack. (If you have more than three employees working towards the certificate at one time it is recommended you purchase more than one Trainer Pack.)

Trainee Packs are sent out to the employees when they sign a Training Agreement. The Trainee Pack complements the Trainer Pack and includes the assessment.

These resources are very user friendly for both trainers and trainees and include information on verifying and assessing the trainees' work.
