QUALITY ASSURANCE
Part of our role as a standard-setting body is quality assurance. This means we must ensure that all the unit standards and qualifications managed by the Retail Institute that are offered by any New Zealand training provider are being assessed fairly and consistently against the national standards.
Training providers and Industry Training Organisations (ITOs) must be accredited by a recognised Quality Assurance Body before they can register credits against standards.
They must also engage with the moderation system that applies to those standards.
